Nine Teal Ducklings

nine teal ducklings i once knew
feathery, fluffily they made their debut
and whenever their food is spread on the tray
their tiny little beaks go tud tud away

nine teal ducklings went out to play one day
on an orange buggy far away
down the river they go splash splash splash
occasionally with a sudden feathery dash

nine teal ducklings then settled to bed
tucked in a warm comfy straw bedspread
as the wibble, wobble, wibble, wobble start to ease
taken over by the million stars that go blink blink blink
